Meet Shona

Shona Wallace, B.Bus (Accy), CA, Xero Certified Advisor

Shona has been part of the DFK Hirn Newey story since 2007. After five years gaining valuable experience in the commercial sector, she made her way back to the firm in 2017. In July 2024, Shona was appointed as a director, a reflection of the expertise and relationships she has built over her years with the firm.

Shona has experience in business services, taxation and self-managed super funds (SMSFs), and enjoys working with a broad range of clients across a variety of industries. She has a real passion for how technology can help businesses work smarter and loves finding practical solutions that make a genuine difference to her clients' day-to-day operations.

As a Xero Certified Advisor, Shona helps clients with their cloud accounting needs and makes sure they're getting the most out of their software.

Shona is a member of the DFK International Accounting Services Committee, the DFK ANZ Business Advisory Sub Committee and the DFK ANZ Superannuation Sub Committee.

Outside of work, Shona is kept busy by her three teenage children and loves getting outdoors — whether that's cycling or exploring everything nature has to offer.
