Meet Brittany
Brittany began her career with DFK Hirn Newey during her undergraduate studies and has grown with the firm ever since, progressing through multiple roles over more than a decade. Her dedication and talent have seen her rise through the ranks to become a valued member of the leadership team. She was recently appointed as a Director of the firm in July 2024, reflecting her significant contributions and commitment to both clients and the profession.
Brittany has extensive experience working with a wide variety of clients and businesses, providing taxation, accounting, and strategic advisory services. Her strong technical foundation is supported by her Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) from QUT and her Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting, qualifications that underpin her ability to deliver high‑quality advice across diverse industries.
Brittany is also actively engaged in the accounting profession through her involvement with the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand - Queensland Public Practice Panel and Queensland Young Chartered Accountants Panel.
In addition to her professional achievements, Brittany has volunteered her time to various committees and community initiatives, reflecting her commitment to giving back.
Brittany has also benefited from the professional development opportunities offered through DFK Australia and New Zealand, participating in programs designed to support growth, networking, and connection across the DFK global community. Brittany also contributes to DFK Australia and New Zealand through her involvement in the Superannuation Committee and Tax Advisory Committee, supporting collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the network.
In late 2025, Brittany was recognised as one of the Young CA Award Winners; an honour that acknowledges members who contribute significantly to both their profession and the broader community.
Through her leadership role at DFK Hirn Newey and the firm’s connection to the DFK International alliance, Brittany supports clients locally, nationally, and globally - bringing practical insight, strategic thinking, and a client-first approach to every engagement.
