Auditing is a specialised service which we are able to provide to our larger private and public company clients and to others. The object of an audit is to enable the auditor to report whether or not the accounts show a true and fair view. The prime object is not to detect fraud, but often audits do reveal discrepancies of this nature.

In many cases, an audit is a statutory requirement under law. In all cases, it can be a helpful verification of the position as seen by the proprietors, and the third party examination obtained by an audit can enable the auditor to report on the effectiveness of internal controls, financial budgeting, and the general progress and profitability of the business concerned.
